WP6 series engine for construction machinery
As an engine manufacturer founded early in China, Weichai Power has been a major supplier of the construction machinery industry of China. It boosts the whole series of engines for construction machinery, with the displacement ranging from 2.3L to 17L and the power ranging from 36.8kW to 566kW. These engines meet China III emission standard for diesel engines for non-road mobile machinery, China V, China VI, EU Stage II/III, EU V/VI, BS (CEV) III, and MAR-I emission standards. Weichai engines for construction machinery (China III emission standard for diesel engines for non-road mobile machinery) is applied with the electronically controlled high-pressure common rail, with the power ranging from 36.8kW to 566kW, and are applicable to loaders, excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, cranes, rollers, graders, small multi-purpose machinery, aerial work platforms, sanitation equipment, wide-body dump trucks, large road building machinery, etc.

Product advantages
Fuel filter system
- The three-level fuel filter is used, which has electric fuel pumping, fuel water separation and fuel filtration functions, ensuring good fuel adaptability. The high-mounted fuel filter is used, which is easy for maintenance and can be equipped with the three-level nanny filter element for easy layout and maintenance of the engine.
Cooling system
- The high-capacity water pump guarantees low noise and power consumption.
Drivetrain
- The double PTO structure and three speed ratio options (i.e., 1:1/1:1.13/1:1.24) guarantee the flexible arrangement of the hydraulic system.
Electronic control system
- The special “constant speed control”, a special throttle control logic, is developed to improve work efficiency and reduce labor intensity.
- The instantaneous speed change rate is low; the throttle response to sudden application of load is fast; the speed fluctuation is small; and the system runs smoothly during operation
Drain interval
- 500h oil drain interval.
Environmental adaptability
- Temperature -35℃～50℃ ,altitude below 4000m.
